Bakalářská práce se zabývá využitím principů a postupů paliativní péče v ošetřovatelské praxi. Práce je teoreticko- empirická. Teoretická část je členěna do čtyř kapitol. V teoretické části je popsána paliativní péče- její definice, principy a cíle. Je zde také popsán hospic a hospicové hnutí, jeho vznik a vývoj v ČR a ve světě. Dále se práce zabývá pojmy smrt a umírání a dřívějším a současným pohledem na ni. Poslední kapitola teoretické je věnována nevyléčitelně nemocnému. V této kapitole je popsáno 5 fází přijetí nevyléčitelné nemoci dle Elizabeth- Kübler Rossové, a dále popis a řešení nejčastějších obtíží nevyléčitelně nemocných. Empirická část má za cíl pomocí zjistit, jak jsou principy a postupy dodržovány v praxi. Pro zjištění tohoto cíle byla zvolena případová studie jednoho klienta v hospici a pozorování péče o klienta. U tohoto pacienta byla pozorována péče o něj a přístup personálu hospice.V práci se nachází podrobný popis případu. Bylo zjištěno, že paliativní péče v hospici se shoduje s principy a postupy které uvádí odborná literatura jako důležité pro paliativní péči. The bachelor thesis deals with the use of the principles and procedures of palliative care in nursing practice . The work is theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part is divided into four chapters. The theoretical part describes the definition, principles and goals of palliative care. The work also describes origin and development of the hospice and hospice movement in the Czech Republic and in the world. Furthermore, the work deals with previous and current view of the death and dying. The last chapter of teoretical part is devoted to terminally ill. This chapter describes the five stage of adoption incurable diseases by Elizabeth Kübler - Ross and a description of the most common problems and solutions of terminally ills . The empirical part aims to determine how are the principles and procedures followed in practice. To essure this objective was chosen the case study of one client in the hospice. This patient was observed to care for it and access hospice staff. The work gives the detailed description of the case. It was found that palliative care in the hospice is consistent with important principles and procedures of palliative care reported in the literature.
