Bakalářská práce se zabývá informovaností pacientů s gastroduodenální vředovou chorobou. Je rozdělena na část teoretickou a část empirickou. Teoretická část se nejprve věnuje anatomii a fyziologii gastrointestinálního traktu. Dále se zabývá samotným vředovým onemocněním, jeho klasifikací, rizikovými faktory, klinickým obrazem, diagnostikou a prevencí. V této části jsou také obsaženy komplikace vředového onemocnění, rizika, následná terapeutická či chirurgická léčba a ošetřovatelský proces u pacientů s vředovou chorobou zažívacího traktu. Je zde uvedena statistika o počtu hospitalizovaných pacientů s vředovou chorobou gastroduodena i statistika o počtu nemocných s vředovou chorobou žaludku, kteří museli podstoupit operační léčbu v letech 2004 - 2011. Empirická část spočívá v kvantitativním výzkumném šetření pomocí elektronické a tištěné formy dotazníků. Cílem výzkumného šetření bylo zmapovat informovanost pacientů s gastroduodenální vředovou chorobou a zjistit, jaké jsou znalosti dotazovaných klientů v této problematice. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty poznatky vycházející z výzkumného šetření. Klíčová slova: Edukace, vředová choroba, gastroduodenální trakt The thesis discuss patient is awareness of gastroduodenal ulcer disease. It is divided into a theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part is dedicated to the anatomy and physiology of the gastrointestinal tract. Further parts deal with the ulcer disease itself it is classification, risk factors, clinical picture, diagnosis and prevention. The theoretical part also contain possible complications, risks, subsequent therapeutic or surgical treatment and the nursing proces of patiens with ulcer disease of the gastrointestinal tract. thesis presents statistics of the amount of hospitalized patients with gastroduodenal ulcer disease and statistics of the amount of patients with stomach ulcer disease, who had undergo surgery treatment within years 2004 - 2011. The empirical part consists of the quantitative surfy research using electronic and printed forms of the questionnaires. The aim of the research was to map the patients awareness of the gastroduodenal ulcer disease and to find out the level of knowledge of the surveyed clients in this issue.
