Práce se zabývá tématem aktivního otcovství v severských státech - Dánsku, Finsku, Norsku, Švédsku a na Islandu. V textu je představen fenomén aktivního otcovství obecně a rovněž formy spolupráce severských států v oblasti rodinné politiky. Práce má za úkol seznámit čtenáře s vývojem opatření, která aktivní otce podporují a zasadit jej do kontextu vývoje rodinné politiky dané země a rovněž zjistit, jaké faktory způsobují jejich rozdíly. Dále text analyzuje současnou podobu těchto opatření a porovnává výsledky, které jejich zavedením severské státy dosahují. Práce v závěru řeší možnost aplikace některých popisovaných opatření v České republice a navrhuje zavedení krátké otcovské dovolené. The thesis deals with topic of active fatherhood in Nordic countries - Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Iceland. The phenomenon of caring fathers is introduced as well as the cooperation of Nordic countries in field of family policy. The aim of this paper is to inform about development of policies which are supporting caring fathers and help readers to understand them better in context of family policy changes in each country. The thesis also identifies factors causing differences in these policies and analyses their current state to compare their results. At the conclusion, there is a consideration of possible policy changes in Czech Republic inspired by best practices identified in Nordic countries; introduction of short paternity leave is suggested.
