[cze][eng] MCAP syndrom je pro většinu populace neznámým pojmem. Jedná se o onemocnění, kdy dochází z nejasných důvodů ke změně v genu projevující se makrocefalií a kapilárními malformacemi. Tento syndrom nese s sebou řadu příznaků a komplikací, na které je práce zaměřena a popisuje je. Cílem práce bylo zjistit specifika péče u dětí s MCAP syndromem. Byly provedeny rozhovory a pozorování u dvou rodin dětí s tímto syndromem. Rozhovory byly vedeny s matkami dětí. Výsledky rozhovorů a pozorování jsou koncipovány do textu, který je rozdělen na dvě části. V první části je popsán život dítěte od narození až do současné doby. V této části jsou popsány veškeré příznaky, projevy i komplikace. Ve druhé části byl proveden sběr dat podle modelu Virginie Henderson. Z výsledku vyplynulo, že přestože některé příznaky mají děti společné, tak se každé dítě rodí i s příznaky odlišnými. Každé dítě je tedy jedinečné. Z rozhovorů vyšlo najevo, že v České Republice doposud nikdo neměl zkušenost s tímto syndromem a informovanost zdravotnického personálu je velmi malá nebo žádná. V České Republice neexistuje doposud také žádná česká literatura. Sehnat se zde dají pouze odborné zahraniční články psané v anglickém jazyce, které jsou pro velkou část populace nesrozumitelné. Tato práce může být pomocnou příručkou dalším rodinám, kterým se narodí dítě s tímto syndromem a dále může pomoci rozšířit informace o onemocnění i pro další čtenáře, které bude téma zajímat. Z toho důvodu je připravován i článek o MCAP syndromu do odborného časopisu. For most of the people MCAP syndrome is an unknown term. It is actually an illness, where the gene is changed for unknown reasons, leading to macrocephaly and capillary malformations. The syndrome entails its own symptoms and complications, which are the focus of this paper and which are described below. The goal of the thesis was to find out the specifics of care for children with MCAP syndrome. Interviews and observations were conducted with two families of children with this syndrome. The interviews were made with the mothers of the children. The results of the interviews and observations are outlined in the text, which is divided into two parts. The life of the child, from birth to present day, is described in the first part of the text. All symptoms, signs and complications are also included in this part. The second part of the text deals with collection of data according to the model of Virginia Henderson. The result shows that even though some of the children's symptoms are mutual for both of them, every child is born also with different symptoms. Therefore every child is unique. The interviews showed that no one in the Czech Republic has ever had the experience with this syndrome and the level of awareness of the syndrome among the health care stuff is very small or none at all. There is also no Czech literature published on this topic in the Czech Republic. There can only be found foreign articles written in English language that are not intelligible for a big part of the population. This thesis can be a helpful manual for some other families that give birth to a child with this syndrome and it can further help to spread information of the illness also to all readers, who are interested in this topic. That is also the reason, why the article on the topic of MCAP syndrome is going to be published in a professional journal.
