[cze][eng] Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na zpracování historie dálkového plavání na území České republiky. Z hlediska obsahového je práce zaměřena primárně na historii dálkového plavání na území České republiky, sekundárně pak na dálkové plavání v Evropě a ve světě, dále pak na kanál La Manche. Zde jsou popsány prožitky našich nejznámějších dálkových plavců, kteří se pokusili o překonání kanálu. Z hlediska časového je práce primárně zaměřena od první poloviny 19. století až do současnosti. Do práce jsou také zakomponované vzpomínky přímých účastníků plaveckých závodů ze sportovních periodik a literatury. Text je doplněn dobovými fotografiemi a obrázky, dále pak tabulkami a grafy.This bachelor thesis occupies itself with the history of long-distance swimming in the Czech Republic. In terms of content, the work is focused primarily on the history of long-distance swimming in the Czech Republic, secondarily on long distance swimming in Europe and world, as well as the English Channel. Here are the experiences of our most famous long-distance swimmers. In terms of time, the work is primarily focused on the period of the first half of the 19th century to the present. This work also incorporated memories of participants in swimming competitions from sports periodicals and literature. The text is supplemented with historical photographs and pictures, furthermore tables and graphs.
