Abstract: The static characteristic force versisus deformation of teh used hemispheres made of weak elastic material was measured and used as a mathematical model of Hertz's stops. Measured dynamical properties agree with response curves obtained by numerical simulation in the resonance influenced by the strong nonlinearities very well.
