Diplomová práce se zabývá obrazem mikroregionu Mariánskolázeňska v 19. a na počátku 20. století v dobových turistických průvodcích, mapách a plánech. Důraz je kladen na historicko-geografickou a regionální problematiku, ale práce částečně zpracovává také každodennost lázeňského života v daném období, sociální a hospodářský aspekt dějin, jakož i vývoj turistiky a cestování v této oblasti. Práce ukazuje, jak se původně poddanská osada na panství kláštera v Teplé postupně vyvíjela v centrum mikroregionu - dnešního Mariánskolázeňska. This thesis deals with the picture of Marienbad microregion in the 19th and at the beginning of the 20th century in contemporary tourist guides, and on maps and city plans. Emphasis is put on historical-geographical problems, but thesis in part processes everyday spa life in this period, social and economic aspect of history, as well as progress of tourism and travelling in this area. The theses shows, how the servile colony on the domain of Teplá Monastery grew into the centre of microregion - present Marienbad.
