cze Abstract:
[cze][eng] Tato bakalářská práce sestává z překladu části dvacáté kapitoly publikace Stevena Pinkera The Blank Slate a z komentáře tohoto překladu. This bachelor thesis comprises a translation of the 20th chapter of Steven Pinker's The Blank Slate and of a commentary on the translation. The commentary consists of translation analysis of the source text, which describes all relevant intratextual and extratextual factors and is loosely based on the model of Christiane Nord. Other chapters outline the chosen translation method, various translation problems that occured in the translation process and ways of solving them. The commentary also describes translation shifts that can be found in the target text.
