Současná konvenční teorie zemního tlaku a normy jsou založeny na staré představě jediné smykové plochy v zemním tělesu, která definuje zemní tlak po celé výšce opěrné konstrukce a některé další předpoklady, které nejsou správné. Příspěvek uvádí některé důležité poznatky z výzkumu a důkazy pro obecnější teorii zemního tlaku. The contemporary conventional theory of earth pressure and standards are based on the old idea of a single shear soil mass surface defining earth pressure stress along the whole height of the retaining structure and some others assumptions which are not correct. The paper presents both some important knowledge from the research and proofs for a more general theory of earth pressure.
