Abstract: Article deals with methods and results of landslide inventory mapping in the region of Umbria, Italy and District of Vsetín, Czech Republic. Possibilities of prediction of spatial distribution of shallow landslides using landslides inventory maps and SINMAP Arc View extension were also discused.
