Článek mapuje vývoj eugenického hnutí v českých zemích v období před a během první světové války. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována recepci klasické genetiky a nárůstu genetického poznání mezi lety 1900-1915; zmíněni jsou hlavní protagonisté jako Ladislav Haškovec, Vladislav Růžička, František Čáda či Jaroslav Kříženecký. The study focus on the development of the eugenic movement in the Czech Lands before and during the Great War. Very specific position takes the analysis of the reception of classical genetics and increasing genetic knowledge between 1900-1915. Mentioned are the period leading figures like Ladislav Haškovec, Vladislav Růžička, František Čáda and Jaroslav Kříženecký.
