Problematika inovačních procesů v současných jazykových systémech patří k ústředním otázkám, kterým se dnes lingvistické bádání věnuje. Obecný cíl této práce je synchronní konfrontační popis typů inovačních procesů, které vyvolávají a ovlivňují lexikální dynamiku češtiny a bulharštiny. Vychází se přitom z obecně přijímaného názoru, že v závislosti na uplatňovaném kritériu jednotlivé inovační procesy mohou být usouvztažňovány s různými dynamickými tendencemi komplexnějšího a univerzálnějšího charakteru, tj. s projevy intelektualizace a demokratizace, internacionalizace a nacionalizace, tenninologizace a detenninologizace v českém a bulharském spisovném jazyce. 1. kapitola práce podává metodologická a teoretická východiska výzkumu. Tamtéž se pomocí modelu navrženého B. Havránkem a rozvinutého A. Jedličkou stanoví následující paralely mezi českou a bulharskou jazykovou situací: a) politicko-sociální změny v obou společnostech a nová zájmová orientace členů ,jazykového (komunikačního) společenství"; b) rozšíření sfér užití hovorových a nespisovných jazykových prostředků; c) zvýšení počtu uživatelů cizího jazyka, především angličtiny; d) šíření nových infonnačních technologií a jejich dostupnost pro větší počet uživatelů; e) snadná přístupnost rozmanitých infonnačních zdrojů, resp. možnost sdělování a dotváření... The problems of the innovation processes in the present-day language systems have been essential to the current linguistic research. In general, this thesis is focused on a synchronic contrastive description of the types of innovation processes producing and inf1uencing the lexical dynamics of the Czech and Bulgarian languages. Doing so, it stems from the generally accepted view that, depending on the criterion applied, the individual innovation processes may be made correlative with various dynamic tendencies of a more complex and universal nature, L e. with signs of intellectualization and democratization, intemationalization and nationalization, terminologization and de-terminologization ofthe Czech and Bulgarian literary languages. Chapter I presents the methodological and theoretical starting points of the research. By means of a model designed by B. Havránek and developed by A. Jedlička, the following parallels between the Czech and Bulgarian language situations are being set in it: a) political and social changes in both societies and new orientation of interests of the members of the "language (communication) community"; b) widening the spheres of use of colloquial and non-literary linguistic devices; c) increase in the number of users of foreign languages, especially English; d) spread of new...
