[cze][eng] Lidský imunitní systém se setkává s miliony nejrůznějšíc h antigenll a antigenních epitopu. Sch pnost ly mfocy tů specificky reagovat na tylO podnět y je zaj ištěn a obrovskou rozmanitostí anti genn ě-specifických receptorů - imuno g lo bulinů (lg) Ll B lymfocy tll a I-b uně č n ých re c eptorů (TeR) u T lymfocytů. Kdyby byl celý tento repertoár kódován o ddělenými geny, zabral by většinu genomu. Namísto toho vznikl v průbě h u evoluce systém, který pomocí přeskupování omezeného množství genových segmentu dokáže vy tvořit kombinace, které jsou jedinečné pro každý lymfocyt nebo lymfocytárn í klon. Povrchové i sekretované imunoglobuliny B I ymfocytů se skládaj í ze dvou těžkých (lgH) a dvou lehk ' ch (TgL) řetězců , spoj ených disulfidovou vazbou. Geny kódující 19B řet ězce se nacházej í v genovém komplexu na chromosomu 14q32.3 v oblasti pokrývaj ící asi 1250 kb. ento komplex obsahuje v závislosti na haplotypuna 5 ' konci skupinu 46-52 fu nkčních sekvenčně podobných úsekl'l V ("variabil ita"), rozděle ných na základě homologie do 6-7 rodin. Dále následuje skupina 27 úseků D ("diversita"), pak skupina 6 laátkých úseků J ("joining") a na 3' konci jsou uspořádány genové segmenty konstantní část i těžkého řetězcc ce), jejichž použitím jsou definovány jednotlivé třídy imunoglobulinů.
