Práce uvádí život a dílo G. Rossiniho, jeho tvůrčí období. Blíže popisuje operu Il barbiere di Siviglia se zaměřením na postavu Rosiny. Čtenář zde nalezne vysvětlení pojmu belcanto a jeho specifika. Autor popisuje vlastní zkušenost s rolí Rosiny. The work presents the life, work, and times of G. Rossini. It takes a closer look at the opera Il barbiere di Siviglia with particular emphasis on the character of Rossina. The work also familiarizes the reader with the term Bel Canto and its particulars. The author describes her own experience with the character of Rossina.
