Ve společenstvu ryb v dolním toku Moravy jsme v období let 1970-1988 evidovali, podle výsledků ichtyologických výzkumů a úlovků ryb sportovním rybolovem, celkem 39 druhů. Ve srovnání s historickými údaji došlo k ochuzení společenstva o 7 druhů. According to the literature reviews and anglers' fish catches during 1970-1998, the fish community in the lower reaches of the Morava River consists of 39 species (11 of them belonging to the category of endangered or vulnerable ones).
