Cílem této práce bylo se seznámit se systémy HVDC, které jsou ve světě využívány. V bakalářské práci jsou uvedeny základní principy propojení stanic HVDC a konfigurace přenosové linky HVDC. V práci jsou dále popsány používané topologie měničů a jejich hlavní polovodičové součástky. V závěru práce je technologie HVDC zhodnocena a s ní i její klady a zápory. The aim of this thesis is to introduce the high-voltage direct current (HVDC) systems used in the world today. The work lists the basic principles of connection between individual HVDC stations, as well as the configuration of the HVDC transmission link. In addition, the work describes the topologies of converters currently in use and also their principal semi-conductor components. In the conclusion of the thesis, the HVDC technology is assessed, including its advantages and drawbacks.
