Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou přenosu dat aplikací v konvergované síti se zaměřením na WiFi sítě IEEE 802.11. V teoretické části je popsán důvod a podstata konvergentních sítí. Další část práce je věnována popisu standardu IEEE 802.11, kde je vedle jednotlivých standardů a doplňků popsána architektura, koordinace přístupu i řešení QoS sítí zmíněného standardu. Praktická část je založena na návrhu vlastní konvergované sítě s prvky WiFi a to v prostředí grafického simulačního programu OPNET Modeler. V navržené síti byl dále simulován provoz služeb, jako je hlasová služba, videokonference, FTP a HTTP přenos. Výsledky simulace provozu dat v sítí jsou následně analyzovány. V Konečné části práce je v programu OPNET Modeler vytvořen návrh laboratorní úlohy, jejíž podstatou je srovnání provozu konvergované sítě s podporou a bez podpory kvality služeb. This thesis deals with data transmission applications in the converged network, focusing on the WiFi network IEEE 802.11. The theoretical part describes the cause and nature of converged networks. One chapter is devoted to a description of IEEE 802.11, which is next to different standards and options described architecture, coordination and access network QoS solution to that standard. The research is based on custom design converged networks, and WiFi elements in the environment of graphic simulation software OPNET Modeler. In the proposed network was also simulated the operation of services such as voice, video conferencing, FTP and HTTP streaming. Results of simulation data traffic in the network are then analyzed. At the Conclusion of the thesis, is in OPNET Modeller program created the role of laboratory. The essence here is the comparison of operating a converged network, with and without quality support services.
