Prameny využitelné pro studium národnostních poměrů v moravských královských městech středověku a raného novověku neodrážejí žádné animozity primárně z etnických důvodů. U měšťanů a obyvatel měst tedy nelze předpokládat žádný vyšší stupeň reflektovaného národního vědomí, větší váhu sehrávala příslušnost k zemi, která ovšem rovnocenně zahrnovala příslušníky obou jazykově nejsilnějších uskupení (českého a německého). Sources usable for studies of national situation in Moravian royal towns in the Middle Ages and in the Early Modern Period don't reflect any animosities based primarily on ethnical reasons. Therefore we cannot suppose any higher level of reflected national awareness at burgers and towns' citizens; there was more important to which country they belonged, however this nationality equally included members of both strongest language groups (Czech and German).
