eng Abstract:
[eng][cze] The need of collaboration between borderland regions in the solution of common issues occuring along the both sides of the state border induced as early as at the end of the 1950s a pressure to establish certain regional bilateral institutions as a tool of operative solution of these problems. The efforts resulted in the developement of so called „Euroregions“. The very firs Euroregion in the Czech republic (Nisa) came into exiwtence in 1991 after the fall of the „iron curtain“. Currently, there are 13 Euroregions established in Czechia, which stretch along the perimeeter of the wehole state border.
