Stěžejním tématem bakalářské práce je krize na Ukrajině, která začala na podzim roku 2013 a představuje bezpečnostní výzvu nejen pro nejbližší okolí. Práce analyzuje, jak se s touto výzvou vypořádává Evropská unie, jaké kroky již podnikla k vyřešení krize a zda byly úspěšné. Práce také zkoumá proces začleňování bezpečnostních politik do oficiálních struktur unie a na příkladu krize na Ukrajině hodnotí jejich efektivitu. The subject matter of this bachelor thesis is the crisis in Ukraine, which started in fall 2013 and represents a security challenge not only for its closest surrounding. The thesis analyzes how has the European union dealt with the crisis, what steps have been taken in order to resolve the crisis and whether such steps were succesful. The thesis also examines the process of including security policies to official union´s structure and evaluates the policies´ effectiveness in the example of Ukraine.
