The optimisation of the rectangular cross-section diffuser with 90 deg bend was carried out using the FLUENT 6.0 software. The aim was to minimize energy losses in the curved diffuser with three parameters: radius of the inner cylindrical wall, and two parameters describing the distribution of the channel width. Optimalizace difuzoru s obdélníkovým průřezem a 90o zakřivením byla provedena pomocí software FLUENT 6.0. Cílem bylo minimalizovat ztráty energie v zakřiveném difuzoru se třemi parametry: poloměr vnitřní kruhové stěny a dva parametry popisující rozložení šířky kanálu.
