Nejvíce bohatá počtem biotopů a různým relifem se jeví lokalita Čertova stěna, kde se nalézají jak lesní biotopy tak i biotopy na březích potoka, vlastní břehy a vodní biotopy. In 2003 the investigation of beetle fauna by pitfall traping, sifting and individual sampling was carried out in the area of the Boubín Mt. in the Bohemian Forest. During investigation , 98 beetle species were recovered. Forest species prevail in beetle communities (63%),the frequency of ubiquitous species was lower (24%).
