Cílem této diplomové práce je analýza platební bilance a měnového kurzu a následné ověření jejich vzájemných souvislostí u vybraných ekonomik. První část se věnuje vysvětlení základních teoretických pojmů z oblasti mezinárodních financí. Věnuje se především struktuře platební bilance, charakteristice měnového kurzu a rozdílnosti jednotlivých měnových systémů. Druhá část stručně představuje čtyři zkoumané ekonomiky (Japonska, Jihoafrické republiky, Paraguaye a Dominikánské republiky) a jejich aktuální ekonomickou situaci letech 2014/2015. Třetí část diplomové práce je zasvěcena vlastní analýze souvislostí mezi platební bilancí a měnovým kurzem vybraných ekonomik. Vztahy jsou hledány pomocí regresní analýzy metodou nejmenších čtverců na datech získaných z informačního serveru MMF. The main goals of this dissertation are to analyze balance of payments and foreign exchange rate and to examine mutual relations between these two concepts. The first part describes basic terms related to international finance. These terms are structure of balance of payments, foreign exchange rate and exchange rate regimes. The second part presents four selected foreign economics (Japan, South Africa, Paraguay, Dominican republic) which will be subdue to the analysis. The third and final part is devoted to the regression analysis. Relations between balance of payments and foreign exchange rate are analyzed by the method of ordinary least squares. Necessary data was gained from the IMF server.
