Tato diplomová práce se v teoretické části věnuje vzdělávacím teoriím, formám vzdělávání, vývoji a druhům e-learningu. Dále představuje nové on-line technologie ve vzdělání, klady a zápory, jež on-line vzdělávání přináší a jeho trendy (princip gamifikace, sociální learning, MOOCs a další). Tento teoretický základ je nezbytně nutný pro chápání principů fungování on-line vzdělávání, a tak porozumění významu hromadných otevřených vzdělávacích kurzů (MOOC). Praktická část se zčásti věnuje výsledkům dotazníku týkajících se přítomnosti on-line technologií ve vzdělávání studentů. Další část reflektuje cíl diplomové práce a analyzuje možnosti obecného zapojení vysoké školy do MOOC, specificky uvádí podmínky a proces zapojení vysoké školy do německé vzdělávací platformy iversity. This thesis is focused on the educational theories, forms of training, development and types of e - learning. Then there are mentioned new online educational technologies, pros and cons of on-line learning and its trends (gamification, social learning, MOOCs, etc.). This theoretical knowledge is necessary for understanding the principles of the on-line education and importance of massive open online courses. One part of the practical section concentrates on the results of a questionnaire regarding the presence of on- line technologies in a student learning. Another part reflects the aim of the thesis and generally analyses the possibilities of the university involvement in MOOC. Specifically, it states the conditions and process of college involvement in the German educational platform iversity.
