Práce analyzuje vliv korupce na cenu infrastrukturních staveb. K tomu budou užity zejména podílové ukazatele sestrojené z Comparative price level indices sledované Eurostatem a Index vnímání korupce Transparency International. Metodou zkoumání je průřezová analýza údajů minimálně 20 evropských zemí za rok 2007. Zmíněné podílové ukazatele jsou NERV a médii prezentovány jako měřítka nadměrných cen dálnic v České republice. Bude provedeno jejich očištění od vlivu rozdílných cen práce a kapitálu mezi státy, které na ukazatele působí skrze odlišnou spotřebu výrobních faktorů v oblasti inženýrských staveb a ostatních odvětvích stavebnictví. Je demonstrována značná korelace mezi mírou korupce a takto definovanými měřítky cen inženýrských staveb v neočištěné i očištěné podobě. The thesis analyses the influence of corruption on infrastructure works prices. For that purpose, indicators based on Comparative price level indices issued by Eurostat and Corruption Perceptions Index by Transparency International are used. The method is a cross-sectional analysis of at least 20 European countries for 2007. NERV and Czech media have used the mentioned indicators to demonstrate overpricing of road construction in the Czech Republic. These indicators will be controlled for difference in labor and capital costs across countries, which affects the indicators through different production factor consumption in engineering works and other branches of construction. Significant correlation between corruption index and indicators of engineering works prices was found both in the unadjusted and adjusted form.
