[cze][eng] První kapitola této bakalářské práce se zaměřuje na obecnou charakteristiku regionu západního Balkánu a poskytuje základní politicko-hospodářské informace o oblasti s důrazem na výklad moderních dějin regionu (rozpad Jugoslávie, válečné konflikty a současné hospodářské problémy). Druhá část popisuje aktuální rozšiřování Evropské unie o státy bývalé Jugoslávie. Poslední kapitola se zabývá přílivem zahraničních investic do Srbska a Chorvatska a zahraničním obchodem obou zemí s Českou republikou.The first chapter of this bachelor thesis focuses on general characteristics of western Balkan region and provides basic politico-economical information about the area with emphasis on region's modern history interpretation (breakup of Yugoslavia, Yugoslav wars and current economic problems). The second part describes European Union's enlargement of former Yugoslav states. The last chapter focuses on foreign direct investments to Serbia and Croatia and foreing trade of these states with the Czech Republic.
