Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tradičním čínským bojovým uměním, Tai Chi. Cílem práce je přiblížit principy Tai Chi, zmapovat jeho možnosti použití v rámci fyzioterapie, popsat účinky cvičení tohoto bojového umění na lidské zdraví u lidí trpících vertebrogenním algickým syndromem a zhodnotit vliv tohoto cvičení na dané onemocnění. Práce je rozdělena na části teoretickou, praktickou a diskusi. V teoretické části je sepsán komplexní pohled na Tai Chi, kořeny ze kterých čerpá a stručný historický vývoj až do současnosti. Zde se nachází i kapitoly zodpovídající některé praktické otázky ohledně cvičení Tai Chi. Nejobsáhlejší kapitola teoretické části je věnovaná zdravotnímu účinku Tai Chi na lidské zdraví, jež je rozděleno na různé oblasti dle definice Světové Zdravotnické Organizace. Ke každé oblasti zdraví jsou uvedeny zahraniční výzkumné práce. Praktická část obsahuje kapitolu o vertebrogennímu algickému syndromu, kde jsou uvedeny statistické údaje o daném onemocnění, etiologie a i konzervativní léčba. V dalších kapitolách jsou popsané výzkumné otázky i výzkumný soubor. V kapitole věnované metodice jsou uvedené metody sběru dat a jsou tam i přiblíženy použité fyzioterapeutické vyšetřovací metody. V této části se nachází i kapitola popisující trvání, prostředí a časový harmonogram Tai Chi terapie. Rovněž zde lze nalézt soupis názvů cviků sestavy 24 forem Yang a odkaz na internetové video celé sestavy. Největší kapitolou praktické části je kapitola obsahující jednotlivé kazuistiky pacientů. Poslední kapitolou této části je sumarizace výsledků pacientů. V diskusní části jsou zasazena data zjištěná výzkumem v této bakalářské práci do kontextu studií zahraničních autorů, jež se zabývaly účinkem cvičení Tai Chi na různé aspekty lidského zdraví. This bachelor thesis addresses the traditional Chinese martial art Tai Chi. The aim of this document is to outline the principles of Tai Chi, to conduct a survey of its possible uses in physiotherapy, to describe the effects of practicing this martial art on patients suffering from vertebrogenic pain syndrome and to evaluate the impact of this exercise on the given disease. This paper is divided into parts theoretical, practical and discussion. The theoretical part includes a complex view of Tai Chi, the roots from which it derives, and a brief historical summary. Chapters answering a few practical questions about Tai Chi practice are situated in this part. The most substantial chapter of the theoretical part discusses the impact of Tai Chi practice on health of human beings, which is divided into several aspects according to the World Health Organization. Various foreign studies are mentioned. The practical part includes a chapter about the vertebrogenic pain syndrome, in which the statistical data about the given disease is stated. The chapter also discusses etiology and also the conservative therapy of the disease. The research questions as well as the defining of the study group are the topics of the following chapters. The chapter about methodology includes the methods used for data collection and a description of the used physiotherapeutic examining methods. This section incorporates also a chapter containing the list of movements from the 24-form Yang style Tai Chi and a link to an internet video of the whole sequence. The case history of the patients can be found in the largest chapter of this section. The topic of the discussion section is the interpretation of the research results in the context of other studies conducted by foreign authors, who researched the effects of Tai Chi on various aspects of human health.
