Předmětem této bakalářské práce je středověká tvrz, zvaná Horní, nacházející se ve Starých Kestřanech, okres Písek. Jedním z nejdůležitějších cílů práce je shrnout archeologické poznatky spojené s touto tvrzí a podat přehled o dostupném archeologickém materiálu pocházejícím ze studny Horní kestřanské tvrze. Cílem práce je prostřednictvím tohoto materiálu doložit životní úroveň na dané lokalitě. Pozornost byla věnována i středověké tvrzi obecně. The topic of this bachelor work is a medieval fort called Horní which is located in Staré Kestřany, district Písek. One of the most inportant aims of this work is to summarize archeological knowledge connected with this fort and to report on accessible archeological stuff originated from the well of Horní Kestřany fort. The aim of this work is to give evidence of the living standards in this locality throught the agency of this stuff. This attention was also dedicated to medieval fort in general.
