Bakalářská práce se zabývá forfaitingem jako alternativní možností financování mezinárodního obchodu. Práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. V první kapitole rozebírá obecné charakteristiky, účel odkupu pohledávek, výhody a nevýhody. Představeny jsou i dva způsoby výpočtu diskontní sazby. Druhá část se věnuje pouze bankovním zajišťovacím instrumentům, jakými jsou směnka, dokumentární akreditiv a bankovní záruka. Závěrečná část pojednává o poskytování forfaitingu jak celosvětově, tak i na území České republiky. Jako zástupci českých institucí jsou představeni Česká spořitelna a Deutsche Forfait. This bachelor thesis deals with forfaiting as an alternative possibility of financing in international trade. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first one is based on the analysis of general characterization, the purpose of purchase and the advantages and disadvantages. It describes also two ways of discount rate calculation. The second chapter focuses on the reinsurance instruments against risks, namely bill of exchange, documentary credit and bank guarantee. The last part of the thesis handles forfaiting worldwide and as well as in the Czech Republic. There are Česká spořitelna and Deutsche Forfait mentioned as the representatives of forfaiting providing institutions in the Czech Republic.
