Abstract: Technology has been optimized to provide longer cylindrical parts of an optical crystal for laser applications. Specific optical characteristics along the crystals grown have been measured and evaluated. At another kind of laser crystals the specific impurities were followed by magnetic and optical spectroscopies and their influence on crystal characteristics was discussed.
