The main aim of this bachelor thesis was to evaluate the financial situation of the company Nokia Corporation. Company's financial statements data from 2003-2012 were used and industry averages from the Bloomberg database. The evaluation was conducted by means of financial analysis. Specifically, ratio analysis including spider analysis, and a set of selected bankruptcy prediction models were applied. The results confirmed recent worries that Nokia has been threatened by bankruptcy. Out of the scenarios of the company's future development outlined in the study, the sale of the mobile phones business became reality. Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce bylo zhodnotit finanční situaci společnosti Nokia Corporation. Byly použity údaje z finančních výkazů společnosti z let 2003-2012 a odvětvové průměry z databáze Bloomberg. Vyhodnocení bylo provedeno pomocí finanční analýzy. Konkrétně byla použita analýza poměrových ukazatelů včetně spider analýzy, a sada vybraných bankrotních modelů. Výsledky potvrdily nedávné obavy, že společnost Nokia je ohrožena bankrotem. Z v práci nastíněných scénářů možného budoucího vývoje společnosti se prodej divize mobilních telefonů stal realitou.
