Cílem této práce je co nejúplněji představit výsady a imunity, které náleží úředníkům a zaměstnancům EU a dalším osobám účastnícím se činnosti EU, a porovnat jejich obsah a rozsah s mezinárodněprávní úpravou. Práce je členěna do tří kapitol. První z nich poskytuje přehled o pramenech právní úpravy výsad a imunit a mapuje vývoj hlavního dokumentu -- Protokolu o výsadách a imunitách EU. Druhá kapitola se zabývá osobní a věcnou působností těchto výsad a imunit a také možností úředníky a zaměstnance imunity zbavit. Poslední část se věnuje postavení mezinárodních úředníků z hlediska mezinárodního práva obecně a srovnání Protokolu o výsadách a imunitách EU s Úmluvou o výsadách a imunitách OSN, Dohodou mezi OSN a Spojenými státy americkými o sídle OSN a s Všeobecnou dohodou o výsadách a imunitách Rady Evropy. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to present the privileges and immunities enjoyed by the officials and servants of the EU and other persons taking part in the work of the EU and to compare these privileges and immunities and their extent with the regulation of the international law. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first one offers a survey of the sources of the prvileges and immunities legal regulation and covers the development of the main document -- Protocol on the privileges and immunities of the European Union. The second chapter deals with the personal and factual scope of the privileges and immunities and with the waiver of the immunity. The last part of the thesis examines the status of the international officials in terms of the international law and compares the Protocol on the privileges and immunities of the EU with the Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the United Nations, the Agreement Between the United Nations and the United States Regarding the Headquarters of the United Nations and with the General Agreement on Privileges and Immunities of the Council of Europe.
