Diplomová práce se věnuje ženám v Komerční bance se zaměřením na jejich kariéru a možnosti harmonizace rodinných a pracovních povinností. Hlavním cílem práce je nastínit jednak postoj Komerční banky k politice rovných příležitostí, informovanost zaměstnanců o zvoleném prorodinném opatření a v čem vidí ženy největší překážky v budování kariéry. Praktickou část práce bylo nezbytné teoreticky ukotvit, a proto v první části práce řešíme problematiku postavení žen ve společnosti, jejich reprezentaci v médiích, kariérní otázky a postavení žen na trhu práce, rovnoprávnost mužů a žen a harmonizaci práce a rodiny. Použitou metodou empirického výzkumu je individuální rozhovor s manažerkami Komerční banky a zároveň písemné dotazování vybraného vzorku zaměstnanců banky. The thesis deals with women in Komerční banka focusing on their career and possibilities of work-life balance. The main aim of the thesis is to find out an attitude of the bank towards the equal opportunities, employees' awareness of instruments of family policy as well as the biggest difficulties in women's career. In order to support the practical part of the thesis, we present information about women's role in society, women in the media, career, equal rights and work-life balance. The adopted method of the empirical part is an individual interview with women managers and a questionnaire aimed at selected employees of the bank.
