Hlavním cílem této práce je analýza dlouhodobého vlivu členství ČSR v RVHP na československou ekonomiku. Přechod od tržní k plánované ekonomice přinesl zásadní změny jak ve změně obchodních partnerů, tak ve struktuře výrob. Důsledkem plnění nereálných výrobních plánů a příkazů ze Sovětského svazu byly krize hospodářství a následné sociální výkyvy režimu v důsledku nedostatku zboží osobní spotřeby. Práce se dále věnuje analýze československého zahraničnímu obchodu a celkové ekonomické pozici Československa mezi dalšími satelity SSSR. Autorka se také pokusila zhodnotit úspěšnost plánované kooperace výrob a účast na mezinárodní dělbě práce. Záměrem je poukázat na odlišnosti mezi oficiálními plány a reálnými výsledky a dopady na československou ekonomiku. Tento kontrast lze dokázat komparací archivních pramenů a odborné literatury. Větší prostor je v práci věnován analýze automobilového průmyslu, proměnám a problémům tohoto odvětví v jednotlivých dekádách. The main objective of this work is the analysis of the long-term impact of the ČSR's membership in the Comecon (The Council for Mutual Economic Assistance) on the Czechoslovak economy. The move from a market to a planned economy created fundamental change in the structure of both trade and production. The implementation of unrealistic production plans and dictates from the Soviet Union resulted in an economic crisis and severe disorder in the social system due to the lack of and possibility of personal consumption. This paper also deals with the analysis of the situation in foreign trade, and the overall economic position of Czechoslovakia among other Soviet satellites. The author also tried to evaluate the results of the planned economy on production and also it's place internationally in the division of labor. The intention is to highlight the differences between the official plans and the real results and impact on the Czechoslovak economy. This contrast is achieved by comparing archival sources and special literature. The major space in this work is dedicated to analysis of the automotive industry, the changes and the problems of this sector in the individual decades.
