Stomatal conductance and mesophyll conductance for CO2 transport are two key components of diffusive limitations of photosynthesis, since they restrict CO2 flux from the leaf surface to the sub-stomatal cavity and from there to the sites of carboxylation. This thesis summarizes our findings in the field of nature of mesophyll conductance to CO2 transport and its regulation per se and in respect to stomatal conductance. Průduchová a mezofylová vodivost pro transport oxidu uhličitého jsou dvě klíčové komponenty difúzních limitací fotosytnézy, které omezují tok CO2 z povrchu listu až do míst karboxylace. Tato dizertační práce shrnuje výsledky z oblasti podstaty mezofylové vodivosti pro transport CO2, její samostatné regulace a regulace ve vztahu k průduchové vodivosti.
