Práce je zaměřená na oblast externího auditu s důrazem na využití práce dalších odborníků při provádění auditorské činnosti. Ve své úvodní části práce čtenáře seznámí s definicí pojmu externí audit, s historickým vývojem auditorské činnosti, s cíli auditu a jeho právní úpravou. Dalším bodem práce je porovnání externího auditu s auditem interním a vymezení jejich vzájemného vztahu. Hlavní část práce se týká vlastního průběhu auditorské činnosti s důrazem na využití práce dalších odborníků, který je názorně ilustrován na smyšlené společnosti s názvem "Tipni si a vyhraj". The thesis is focused on process of external auditing with emphasis on the use of the work of other professionals. At the beginning it introduces the definition of external audit, historical development of auditing process, its objectives and legislation to the readers. Next item of the thesis is a comparison of the external audit with internal audit and specification of their relationship. The main part of the work is related to auditing process with emphasis on the use of the work of other professionals, which is illustrated on a fictional company called "Tipni si a vyhraj".
