Cílem této práce je porovnání literární činnosti dvou českých spisovatelek 19. století ? Karoliny Světlé a Elišky Krásnohorské. Na základě vybraných textů autorek je provedena charakteristika jejich literární činnosti a typologie hlavních postav včetně jejich osudů. Vedle literární tvorby obou zmíněných autorek nezůstane opomenut ani jejich osobní život včetně snahy o emancipaci žen. Úvodní část se zaměřuje na charakteristiku doby 19. století z pohledu postavení ženy v české společnosti a jejího vývoje. Závěr práce obsahuje shrnutí tvorby obou autorek a porovnání jejich činnosti. The aim of this study is to compare literary activity of two Czech writers in the 19th century - Karolina Světlá and Eliška Krásnohorská. Based on selected texts of the authors is made a characteristic of their literary activities and typology of the main characters and their fates. In addition to the literary work of both these authors it will not be overlooked their personal life and commitment to the emancipation of women. The introductory section is focused on the characteristic of years of 19th century from the perspective of the statues of a women in Czech society and its development. The conclusion summarizes the work of both authors and compares their activities.
