Cílem mé práce je popsat základní faktory světové hospodářské krize a vysledovat její projevy v českém prostředí, které budou vystopovány na příkladech zvolených dvou podnikatelských subjektů. Práce nejprve poukazuje na to, jakým způsobem propukla americká hypoteční krize, jaký vliv měla finanční krize na zasažené státy a jaké úkoly padly na podnikovou sféru. V druhé řadě pak předložená práce analyzuje dvě vybrané společnosti, které si v období finanční krize vedly odlišným způsobem. Cílem komparace je zjistit (především z finančních a výkazů a manažerských rozhodnutí) co dovedlo první z nich k nestabilitě a druhou naopak k dalšímu rozvoji. V první kapitole práce popisuji historicky známé finanční krize se zaměřením na americkou hypoteční krizi z roku 2007 a její postupné rozšíření do evropských států, včetně České republiky. Druhá kapitola je věnována metodickému aparátu finanční analýzy, kterou využívám v praktické části. Praktická část se ve 3.kapitole skládá z komentované analýzy účetních výkazů dvou stavebních společností s cílem zjistit odlišnosti v jejich finančním řízení. Do analýzy dále vstupují také nefinanční ukazatele a další faktory, které jsou součástí obsahu 4. kapitoly. The aim of my thesis is in the first place to show the origin of American mortgage crisis, the impact of (from that implying) financial crisis on affected countries in Europe. In the second place, the aim is to analyze two selected companies that have managed to get over the financial crisis in different way in order to find out (mainly based on financial statements) the reason of financial instability, regarding the managerial decisions of the first company, and the reason of further development in case of the second one. In the first chapter of this thesis I am describing the historically well-known financial crisis focusing on 2007 American mortgage crisis and its gradual spread into European countries, including the Czech Republic. The second chapter is dedicated to methodological background of financial analysis which I am using in the practical part. The Practical part itself consists of financial statement analysis of two construction companies in order to show the differences in the financial management. The fourth chapter includes also non-financial ratios as the input variables of the overall analysis.
