Tato diplomová práce se věnuje motivu smrti v četbě určené pro děti a mládež. V úvodní části se zabývá historií vnímání smrti a představami smrti v lidových vrstvách. Také se dotýká myšlení o původu smrti, což zahrnuje tři mýty o smrti ? Epos o Gilgamešovi, prvotní hřích u Adama a Evy, oběť Ježíše Krista. Následuje pohled na vnímání smrti z dnešního hlediska a z pohledu dětí. Motiv smrti v dětské četbě analyzujeme pomocí čtyř dětských knih vydaných v posledních letech, ve kterých se motiv smrti objevuje v různých podobách a pojetích. This thesis is devoted to the theme of death in reading for children and youth. The first part deals with the history of ideas and perceptions of death in the death of popular films. Also affects thinking about the origin of death, which includes three myths about death - The Epic of Gilgamesh, the original sin of Adam and Eve, the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The following view on the perception of death from today's perspective and from the perspective of children. Theme of death in children's reading by analyzing four children's books published in recent years in which the motif of death appears in various forms and concepts.
