Abstract: Some of Schistosoma mansoni proteolytic enzymes may have role in host?parasite interactions. Main aim of this thesis is focused on a recombinant expression of two, not yet characterized schistosoma serine proteases under GeneDB idenitification number Smp_141450 and Smp_103680. Several expression system have been tested in order to produce these proteolytic enzymes ? Escherichia coli (BL21), E. coli (SHuffle) and Kluyveromyces lactis.
