Práca se zaoberá regionalismem v Ázii a Tichomoří, jednak teoreticky, jako aj prakticky představením vybraných regionálních integrací a shodnotěním jejich dosavadné aktivity. V další části práce je podrobně představena integrace ASEAN - historie spolupráce, dosažené úspěchy a analýza jejích vnějších vztahů. Konec práce představí nejperspektivnější projekty, které ASEAN podporuje. Práca predstavuje nový regionalizmus v Ázii a Tichomorí, jednak zo stránky teoretickej, ako aj praktickej - predstavenie vybraných regionálnyc integrácií regiónu. Ďalšia časť práce podrobne predstavuje integráciu ASEAN - história spoluoráce, doterajšie úspechy a jeho vonkajšie vzťahy. V závere sú predstavené najperspektívnejšie projekty, ktoré ASEAN podporuje. The theses presents the new regionalism in Asia and Pacific in theoretical, as well as the practical point of view - describing some of the regional integrations and their achievements. The next part presents in detail the integration of ASEAN - history of cooperation, its attained accomplishments and external relations. The end of the theses presents the most perspective project that are supported by ASEAN.
