Práce se zabývá občanskými sdruženími působícími v oblasti sportu. V úvodu práce je stručně charakterizována nejrozšířenější forma neziskových organizací, občanské sdružení. Poté se těžiště práce přesouvá do oblasti občanských sdružení ve sportu, ve které je nastíněna hierarchie sportovních sdružení v ČR. Také je zde rozebrána problematika financování a specifika a odlišnosti v oblasti účetnictví a daní těchto sdružení. V praktické části se práce zaměřuje na aplikaci uvedených teoretických poznatků na konkrétní sportovní sdružení, Šachový svaz ČR. Od popisu činností, organizační struktury přes SWOT analýzu se práce dostává k samotné analýze hospodaření Šachového svazu ČR v letech 2009 - 2011, přičemž je kladen důraz na jednotlivé položky aktiv a pasiv, výnosů a nákladů a výsledku hospodaření ve sledovaných letech. Thesis deals with civic associations operating in the field of sport. In the introduction, the most common form of non-profit organizations, civic associations, is briefly characterized. After that thesis deals with sports civil associations, there is outlined the hierarchy of sports associations in the Czech Republic. There is also analyze of the problematic area of financing and the specifics and differences in accounting and taxation of these associations. In the practical part thesis focuses on the application of these theoretical findings to specific sports associations, Chess Federation of Czech Republic. From the description of activities, organizational structure through SWOT analysis, thesis aims to analysis of business activity of Chess Federation of Czech Republic in the years 2009 - 2011, with the emphasis on assets and liabilities, revenues and expenses and profit.
