Bakalářská práce se zabývá finanční analýzou společnosti Ferostav a.s. v letech 2005 až 2011. Cílem této práce je zjistit a vyhodnotit finanční situaci podniku, tedy zjistit finanční zdraví firmy. V teoretické části se zabývám obecným pojetím finanční analýzy, jejími uživateli, zdroji informací, včetně popisu obsahu konkrétních finančních účetních výkazů a popisuji techniky a metodické nástroje finanční analýzy, které jsou dále aplikovány v praktické části. V praktické části interpretuji výsledky analýzy, vyvozuji závěry a snažím se predikovat finanční tíseň pomocí bankrotních a bonitních modelů. V závěru práce se snažím o celkové stručné shrnutí dosažených výsledků a predikci budoucího vývoje. Bachelor's thesis deals with the financial analysis of the company Ferostav, a.s. in the period 2005 to 2011. The main aim of this thesis is to evaluate an economic performance through the tools of financial analysis, identify and assess the financial situation of company. In the part of theory, I describe the general conception of financial analysis and I mention here the sources of information and its users. I describe the methodological tools and techniques of financial analysis, that are applied in the practical part. The practical part is aimed on the calculation of ratios and their interpretation. In this part, I draw conclusions and try to predict financial distress. In the summary, I try to summarize all important results of my analysis. Based on the results the work tries to predict its future economic development.
