Tato práce je zaměřena na dilemata informační etiky a nastínění jejich řešení. První část popisuje situace týkající se otázky, zda je třeba nových etických teorií či zda teorie obecné etiky jsou postačující. Na to navazuje i obsah zbytku práce, kde se autorka snaží na dilematech z oblasti informační etiky ukázat, zda jsou řešitelná prostřednictvím vybraných obecných etických teorií. Práce se zaměřuje na dvě oblasti etických problémů, a to na právo na informace a právo na ochranu soukromí. Vybrané teorie zahrnují teleologii, deontologii a etiku odpovědnosti. Po popisu těchto teorií následuje jejich aplikace na vybrané kauzy, kde jsou popsány nejen etické závěry, ale také právní úpravy a další informace, které jsou k případům relevantní. This work is focused on information ethics dilemmas and outlining their solutions. The first part describes the situations with respekt to a question if there is a need of new ethical theories or if the theory of general ethics is sufficient.It is followed by the rest of the work where the author tries to show if dilemmas are solvable by selected general ethical theories. The work focuses on two areas of ethical problems, the right to information and the right to privacy. Selected theories include teleology, deontology and ethics of responsibility. The description of these theories is followed by their application on selected cases where there are described not only the ethical findings but also the law and the other information that is relevant to these cases.
