Bakalářská práce se zabývá dopady světové finanční a ekonomické krize na irskou ekonomiku. Cílem práce je podat ucelenou analýzu irské ekonomiky a vyhodnotit, do jaké míry byla ovlivněna světovou krizí. Práce je rozdělená do tří hlavních kapitol. První kapitola popisuje vznik krize a způsob, jakým se rozšířila z USA do Evropy a ostatních zemí světa. Ve druhé kapitole je rozebrán vývoj irské ekonomiky od roku 1950 do vypuknutí krize v roce 2007. Analýza tohoto vývoje je klíčová pro pochopení příčin vzniku hospodářské recese v Irsku. Třetí kapitola se již soustředí na samotné dopady světové krize na irskou ekonomiku. Postupně jsou popsány dopady na vnitřní ekonomickou rovnováhu, vnější ekonomickou rovnováhu a následně jsou představeny opatření, které irská vláda přijala na záchranu irského hospodářství. Bachelor thesis deals with the impacts of the Global financial and economic crisis on the Irish economy. The aim of the thesis is to give a coherent analysis of the Irish economy and to evaluate the extent of global crisis' influence on the Irish economy. The thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter desribes inception of the crisis and the way of crisis' spread into Europe and rest of the world. Irish economy development since 1950 till the beginning of crisis in 2007 is analysed in the second chapter. The analysis of this development is crucial for understanding of the cause of Ireland's economic recession origin. Finally, the third chapter focuses on the impacts of the global crisis on the Irish economy. The impacts on internal and external economic balance are described gradually as well as the measures which Government of Ireland has taken in order to rescue the Irish economy.
