Diplomová práce se zabývá národním účetnictvím České republiky se zaměřením na vývoj vládního dluhu a deficitu. První kapitola objasňuje podstatu, cíl a vývoj disciplíny národního účetnictví. Druhá kapitola charakterizuje systém národního účetnictví České republiky. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována sektoru vládních institucí, jelikož národní účty vládních institucí jsou základem pro predikci vládního deficitu, dluhu a pro Konvergenční program k přijetí společné měny eura. Třetí kapitola vymezuje a definuje pojmy úzce související se sektorem vládních institucí a finanční statistikou. Závěrečná část práce charakterizuje vývoj vládního dluhu a deficitu v období od roku 1995. The diploma thesis deals with the system of national account of the Czech Republic with a focus on the development of government debt and deficit. The first chapter explains the nature, the aim and the development of the field of national accounts. The second chapter concentrates on the system of national accounts of the Czech Republic. Special attention is paid to the sector of government institutions, as the national government accounts are the basis for the prediction of the government deficit, debt and the Convergence program for adoption of the common currency Euro. The third chapter defines the terms closely related to the general government sector and financial statistics. The closing chapter analyses the development of government debt and deficit in the period since 1995.
