The thesis is focused on the evaluation of financial literacy among a group of high school and college students. It is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part offers a definition of financial literacy. Additionally, the main factors which influence financial literacy, family and school are examined. The theoretical part is followed by the practical part which analyses data obtained with the help of a questionnaire. The results offer a clear material describing the financial skills of students.

Matějková, V. The impact of advertising on a customer in the context of a marketing of the company Moje Kávová Hvězda. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel university in Brno, 2017. The goal of the thesis is to identify a target group of customers of the cafe Moje Kávová Hvězda in Brno and find out how its customers perceive company's image, advertisement and what are their needs. There are measures suggested on the basis of the results of the research which could contribute to improve company's marketing in various fields of marketing mix. The study is divided into two parts. The first part concerns general marketing terms and concepts, advertisement and consumer's behaviour. The second part focuses on verifying validity of specified hypotheses by a survey and suggests marketing recommendations and improvements on the basis of these results.

The subject of this thesis is to find out on the basis of comparative research what is the perception and evaluation of TV commercials for shower gels of cosmetic companies Dermacol, Radox, Dove and Nivea. The theoretical part covers mainly the issues of advertising, advertising psychology and marketing. The thesis also focuses on identifying the relationship and attitudes of customers towards the advertisement of shower gels. The overview of secondary data focused on cosmetic products and advertising is presented together with evaluation and interpretation of primary data obtained from electronic polling and personal interviews. At the end of the thesis, marketing recommendations and marketing campaign proposal for Dermacol Cosmetics Company are assigned.

Bachelor thesis refers to the social and cultural problems of foreign scientists in South Moravia Region. The first part is theoretical, discussing the key terms to the topic, as well as the basic issues of the development of science in defining territory and an overview of programs in which foreign scientist can participate. Empirical part of the thesis consist of the research is based on the qualitative methods. The research aims to find out the number of foreign scientists at the 3 largest universities in Brno in order to identify the social and cultural problems according to research findings from academics and scientists at Mendel University.

The diploma thesis describes the situation on the vegetable market in the Czech Republic. The first part of the thesis monitors the development of sowing areas, harvest, consumption, consumer prices and the development of foreign trade of vegetables in recent years. The next part of the thesis deals with factors affecting shopping behaviour of consumers on the vegetable market. These consumers are further divided into individual segments by means of cluster analysis. Not least, the thesis also includes the research of Czech vegetable producers. At the end of the thesis are formulated recommendations for the consumers, producers and traders on the vegetable market.

The bachelor thesis is focused on the identification and evaluation of the benefits of practice during the studies at the Faculty of Business and Economics of Mendel University in Brno. The thesis is divided into two main parts, namely Literary Research and Self Work. Literary Research describes the concepts of motivation, personality, work activity, and then focuses on the university studies and the labour market. The questionnaire, which consisted of 21 questions, was then evaluated in the part of the Self Work. A total of 211 respondents participated in the survey, but only 209 correct questionnaires were used. Results have been suggested to improve students' practical skills.

This bachelor thesis contains of two parts. In the first part the research of the table top market of Czech Republic is made and the opinion of producers on the presence of defects in wood used for the table tops. Results are collected to table and diagrams and then they are evaluated. The second part is dedicated to making a prototype of decorative table top with some defects in the structure. The process is being illustrated with photos and comments.

Stanislav Mokry, Ph.D. This bachelor thesis deals with influence of furniture catalogs on consumer decision making. Its aim is to evaluate current catalogs and evaluate their impact on consumers. Part of this is research into consumer behavior when purchasing furniture. This work uses eye-tracking research and in-depth interviews. The catalogs are modified in various ways and eye-tracking research evaluates the change of attention over the original form of the catalog. In-depth interviewing primarily serves to understand the consumer's purchasing decisions about furniture. On the basis of the results obtained, recommendations for practice are presented.
