Pneumatic Circuit Simulator
Brožek, Pavel ; Ježek, Pavel (advisor) ; Dingle, Adam Thomas (referee)
In the thesis, we develop a pneumatic circuit simulator that can be used as a computational core of a larger pneumatic circuit simulation project. The simulator is designed to best reflect the needs of users who want to simulate simpler pneumatic circuits and for which professional commercial software is unavailable. Simulator of electric circuits SPICE was used as a reference model of a simulator. The simulator was implemented in C# as a library for .NET Standard 2.0. The simulator has been designed so that some of its parts can be replaced with better implementations without the need to change the simulator library, e.g. any linear equation system solver can be plugged into the simulator. A limited set of sample pneumatic components has been implemented for the simulator and the procedure for implementing new pneumatic components has been described in detail. A sample console application that can run circuit simulations of circuits defined with the use of special syntax in text files has also been created.
Web Simulator of Football Leagues and Championships
Urbanczyk, Martin ; Holkovič, Martin (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is about the creation of a simulator of football leagues and championships. I studied the problematics of football competitions and their systems and also about the base of machine learning. There was also an analysis of similar and existing solutions and I took inspiration for my proposal from them. After that, I made the design of the whole simulator structure and of all of its key parts. Then the simulator was implemented and tested. The application allows simulating top five competitions in UEFA club coefficients rating.
Ray Tracing for Electron Microscope
Suchánek, Jan ; Lysek, Tomáš (referee) ; Čadík, Martin (advisor)
This thesis is pointed on simulation of electron microscope. It uses knowledge  from ray-tracing methods and physically based rendering with physics of electron microscopy. The main object of this thesis is to create realistic simulator for electron microscope which can generate satisfying realistic images. This output can be used for another research in range of machine learning or microscope application development. This method should replace long and more expensive way of getting test images from real system for those research activities.
High-Level Petri Nets Interpreter in Python
Grigorev, Danil ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Janoušek, Vladimír (advisor)
This work is targeting a goal of implementing a high level Petri net interpret in Python. The implementation is based on SNAKES library. The final product is capable of executing and visualising Petri nets, created by user. The simulator is based on distributed systems theory and is executed in real-time. The end user is able to experience a simple and human-friendly API, made for creation and execution of High-Level Petri Nets.
Code Generation from Object Oriented Petri Nets
Fryč, Tomáš ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
This thesis describes modeling systems using Object Oriented Petri Nets (OOPN) and design of mechanism which transforms this formalism into Java programming language. The first part of the thesis describes Petri Nets formalism, its extension to object orientaton and PNtalk language, which is specific implementation of OOPN. The next part deals with the mechanism that generates equivalent models in Java from models described by PNtalk, and describes how to simulate these generated models. The generator is designed to be easily expandable and the generated models can be easily modifiable.
Simulator of current output 0-24mA
Chroustovská, Kateřina ; Benešl, Tomáš (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design of very accurate current output simulator 0-24 mA with microcontroller with resolution 0.001 mA. In the thesis I deal with the market re-search with similar devices, theory and then with the conception of the whole system concept, with the identification of used components and with the evaluation of their suitability. I propose here a circuit diagram and a printed circuit board, which I then produce and install. For the resulting device I design and produce a box that will suita-bly complement and unify the entire system. I will revive the whole device, program it and test its functionality.
Car Driving Simulator
Michalík, David ; Fiedler, Petr (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
This master’s thesis is mainly focused on creating our own car driving simulator and basic data gathering from the driver’s input. To achieve this goal, the thesis includes introduction to man-machine systems and basic information about functions and runtime game engine employs. Research about commonly used open source game engines is also presented with a detailed focus on the engine we chose - Unreal Engine. In conclusion ofthis thesis, a full version of a car driving simulator is created with gathered data analysis.
x86 Assembler Simulator for Education
Heštera, Andrej ; Semerád, Lukáš (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
Point of this thesis is gain knowledge base of x86 Instruction Set Architecture and x86 assembly language through analysis. Based on this knowledge, design and implement simulation environment in object oriented programming language Java SE8. This environment will give user option to create code based on conventions and syntax of Netwide Assembler and simulate created code on virtual representation - simulation model, which will imitate behavior of processor implementing instruction set architecture x86. The result of using this environment should be new knowledge for user about basic function of machine code execution and how this execution alters state of processor, without the need to specially compile created code for use in Debugger and having physical system implementing architecture x86.
Edems - Computer Simulator For Learning
Friml, Dominik
This article introduces new educational and demonstrative tool for microprocessor technology called EDEMS, which is designed to ease teaching of microprocessors at universities, high schools and at homes of enthusiasts. It describes reasons of its creation, problems that it solved, and main advantages of this solution.
Web Editor and Simulator of Logic Gate Networks
Horák, Jan ; Kruliš, Martin (advisor) ; Bulej, Lubomír (referee)
One of the topics taught in computer science is the principles of logic gates. An application that allows students to experiment with logic gates and gate networks can be used as a tool to provide better understanding of the topic. However, in order for the application to be usable, it should be available inde- pendently of the software on the user's computer. As a part of this thesis, we were able to implement such application. It provides users with the function- ality of constructing circuits from logic gates interconnected with wires. The application is able to simulate the network and display logic values on each of the wire. Additional functionality has been provided to make the application more enjoyable - unlimited canvas for circuit construction, a simple tutorial introducing new users to the basics of the application, import and export func- tionality and a library of logic circuits that can be imported onto the editing canvas in the form of gate networks or as single components. The application is easily expandable and the source code is available under an open-source license. 1
