The impact of behavioral economics on email fundraising of non profit organization Greenpeace ČR

The aim of this work is to bring new knowledge in the field of behavioral economics and to explore the influence of selected behavioral concepts on fundraising campaigns conducted through e-mail. The thesis first introduces the key aspects of behavioral economics, explains its development throughout history and defines selected behavioral concepts. Then the thesis describes fundraising and its use in nonprofit organizations. The second part of the thesis introduces the case study, which dealt with the application of selected behavioral studies concepts to the e-mailing campaign led by the non-profit organization Greenpeace Czech Republic. The empirical part presents a description of this experiment and an analysis of the results, which revealed that the usage of selected behavioral concepts may be counterproductive under certain conditions.
"Under the skin of your favourite fruit": framing of fair trade by Ekumenická akademie

The aim of the thesis is to describe framing activity of non-profit organization Ekumenická akademie, z.s. that is linked with fair trade movement. It means I want to describe how it strategically constructs a communication made through leaflets that go to existing and potential supporters. The theoretical part focuses on the concept of fair trade movement and its work in the Czech Republic. Then it describes the framing theory, especially core framing tasks that are essential to this thesis. In the methodology, the research methods are explained, which was content analysis of the documents and it also describes the process of the analysis itself. The last part of the thesis describes the results of the research which means how the organization interpreted and constructed the reality with diagnostic, prognostic and motivational framing and thus formed the meaning of the whole communication.
Civic Engagement in Public Policies: The case study of Platform for Social Housing

The topic and general objective of this work is to show how civic engagement functions in public policy, specifically in the social area. Then based on a descriptive case study, a specific objective is the analysis of a non-governmental organization Platform for Social Housing and the specifics of its advocatory function. These phenomena are observed in the context of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the work is divided into four chapters covering basic concepts and definitions of concepts. The first chapter specifies the theoretical framework of public policy on the state level, the second chapter does the same for civic society. The third chapter builds on previous chapters and focuses on the relationship between the state and non-governmental organizations, as well as the role of civic engagement in the public policies. The fourth, a more practically-oriented chapter, contains the theoretical framework of lobbying.
Proposal for changes/ modifications in marketing communication of a specific organization

The master’s thesis focuses on the analysis and proposal for improvement of marketing communication of the non-profit organization Diecézní Charita Brno. The first part deals with the analysis of internal and external factors influencing the environment in the organization, which are subsequently summarized in the end of the analysis. Based on the summary, proposals for improvement in marketing communication for services for foreigners at the Diecézní Charita Brno will be introduced.
Fundraising of Selected Non-profit Organization

The bachelor thesis deals with the non-profit organizations and focuses on non governmental non-profit organizations. In the theoretical part of the thesis, there is described the issue of non-profit organizations and fundraising. In the practical part of the thesis, there is carried out an analysis of the current economy and fundraising activities of selected non-profit organization – Diakonie Českobratrské církve evangelické – středisko Betlém, which provides social services to people with severe disabilities. Subsequently, the findings are evaluated. In conclusion, on the basis of these findings, there are proposed new possibilities for obtaining financial resources, the implementation of which would be beneficial for the organization.

The practical part deals with the analysis of costs, revenues and fundraising activities of a selected non-profit organization. At the end of the thesis there are proposed new sources of financing, which the organization has not used so far.
Evaluation of the Economy of Selected Public Sector Organization

The bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of the economy of a selected organization with a social program, G-Centrum Mikulov, contributory organization. The first part of the thesis deals with methods of processing and the objectives of the work. In the other parts there is the needed theory, the analysis of costs and revenue and partly modified financial analysis. The conclusion of the bachelor thesis is the evaluation of the organization's economy and own proposals for solutions.
Social work with endangered children in "Centrum pro děti Mezipatro"

The aim of this dissertation is to examine approaches to social work dealing with children at risk and their families. Of particular interest to this examination are the processes of social work practice, support of vulnerable children, family's effect upon child's endangered situation as well as the role of family in the process of social work practice with the child. Further subjects of investigation are specific methods and instruments of social work practice with children in need, competence and role of social workers along with legal standards in this field of social work. The first part of the work describes general and theoretical structure of social work practice with socially endangered children. Following part consists of social work methods applied in Mezipatro Children's Centre. The research part includes an analysis of semi- structured interviews conducted with social workers from Mezipatro Children's Centre and is focused on efficiency and risks of social work tools used in Mezipatro Children's Centre.
Financing of the biathlon and skiing club

Title: Financing of the biathlon and skiing club Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to identify financial resources which are used to fund the activities of the club, and to find particular failures of their funding. Afterwards is the aim to create recommendation to improve their funding. Methods: The main method used in this thesis is qualitative method, specifically interviews with employee of office of Prague 5 and with delegate from the club. The descriptive analysis of detected data was used too. Results: From the interview with the delegate of the club and the analysis of data I realized that the club is not using sponsorship to fund their activities. The club is also not using the grant from Prague 2. It was recommended to the club to ask for the grant from Prague 2 and a sponsorship packet was created to help the club to get a sponsor. TITLE: Strategic plan of association Vraťme dětem pohyb, z. s. OBJECTIVES: The diploma thesis examines the strategic management of a nonprofit sport organization, respectively long-term planning of association Vraťme dětem pohyb, z. s., goals are to characterize the organization and its products and to make a strategic analysis which will include an analysis of the internal and external environment as well as a comprehensive SWOT analysis of the organization. Strategic objectives and areas will be determined on the basis of the found information and will be subsequently solid in the proposal strategic plan of the organization. METHODS: This diploma thesis is concieved as applied research, a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods will be used for its purposes. The specific applied methods are observation, interviewing, questioninq, analysis of texts and documents, SWOT analysis, PORTER and PEST analysis. Design research, including research issues providing framework for the thesis are put in the relevant chapter. RESULTS: Within the framework of strategic analysis ware analysed internal and external environment and maked SWOT analysis of the organization.
