Rovněž jsou analyzovány genderové stereotypy, jež se objevují v soudobé reklamě na různé druhy produktů.
Media education at church school.

1 Summary The aim of the Bachelor Thesis Media Education at Church School is to compare the Media Education requirements formulated in educational documents of the Czech Republic and the documents of the Catholic Church. The form of the Media Education at Czech schools is described in the Framing Educational Programme that was established after the school reform at the beginning of this century. Quite a lot of attention to the media is being given also by the church, especially in the documents Inter mirifica, Communio et progressio and Aetatis novae. The thesis focuses on the reasons why the Media Education is a component of the Czech educational system and the church documents too. It summarizes the basic Media Education requirements for both of these subjects. Finally, it compares similarities and differences between these requirements. The czechoslovakien prohibited films of the 1960's era as a reflection of the political situation of the time.

The main focus and aim of this bachelors thesis was to determine, whether Czechoslovak prohibited films, which were made during the 1960's era and suppressed during the era of normalization, truly reflect the political situation of the communist regime (not only in their contents, but also in the approach the media of the time took towards the unwanted films) and whether those filmworks could serve as an unwanted commentary of the time. The theoretical part of this thesis therefore determines the context of the politics and media of the time, puts an emphasis on the censorship practice and the evolution of czech film history during the communist era. The analytical section concerns itself with the chosen prohibited films (Den sedmý, osmá noc (The Seventh Day, the Eight Night), Kladivo na čarodějnice (The Witch Hunt), Skřivánci na niti (Larks on a String), Smuteční slavnost (Funeral Ceremonies), Všichni dobří rodáci (All My Compatriots), Ucho (The Ear) and Žert (The Joke)). The cinematography and the contents of these films are analysed, as well as the references to the communist era. The particular way of suppression of the films and the filmmakers is also established. Poland in the news of the Czech News Agency and the Czech Television with the focus on governmental reforms in 2015 - 2018

The diploma thesis analyses news coverage of some of the most important reforms conducted by the Polish conservative government. It focuses on public media services: Czech News Agency and the main news, Události, of the Czech Television, and the time period of years 2015 - 2018. The work consists of two parts. Theoretical part zeroes in on the description of theoretical concepts, general description of mentioned public media services and their foreign news coverage, particular types of agency and TV news. Separate chapter summarizes the differences between the Czech News Agency and the Czech Television, their purpose and news production itself. Another chapter concentrates on Poland - its political system and historical background of the last decades. The current situation in the country since 2015 is also outlined - the results of the last elections, current government and its reforms and intended changes. The reform of justice, reform of media and a plan to almost ban the abortions are described in details. These three reforms are the bases of Author's analysis. Relations between media organizations and digital intermediaries

The diploma thesis focuses on the relations between digital intermediaries and media organizations on the Czech market. Its goal is to describe a new, ever-evolving environment, which has been affected by the swift rise of digital platforms and by the change in business models of publishers. The thesis puts this phenomenon in the context of media studies and critical political economy and defines the terms "digital platforms" and "digital intermediaries". It also looks more closely at the current challenges related with the content consumption in the digital environment - which includes a discussion of copyright, changes in user behavior and content monetization. The research part is based on individual in-depth interviews with members of digital intermediaries, media organizations and third parties. The analysis takes place in a general, ethical/normative point of view and aims for understanding how the parties interact and work together, how they perceive this environment, how they see its changes and future development.

This diploma thesis with the name "The process and result of negotiation of various actors over the form of media education: case study of Grammar School in Trinec" is dealing with media education and its realization at Grammar School in Trinec. The theoretical part will describe various definitions of media literacy as a result of media education. It will explore the development of media education in Europe and in the Czech Republic and it will analyze various approaches to the realization of media education. The thesis will also mention some researches made in last years in the Czech Republic that dealt with media education or media literacy. The practical part will continue after the theoretical part and it will deal with the realization of media education at Grammar School in Trinec. It will not just be about simple description of the condition of media education at that school. The goal is to focus on factors that come into the process of negotiation over the form of media education. Construction of treat in newscast: example of Russia

Thesis is focused on construction of threat in newcast. The purpose of the quantitative content analysis is the construction of threat in Czech printed news in case of Russian federation. Thesis is based on presumption that with help of selective processes by journalists that implies usage of certain frames and granting of space for certain actors and themes, media are able to construct a threat that may not be even real. Czech news may be influencing our way of thinking towards Russia. The content of thesis is divided to four main parts. The first theoretical chapter links three crucial research areas: news, securitization theory and the concept of media framing. Next chapter describes bilateral relationship between Czech Republic and Russia that provides context for analysis outcomes. Methodological part is concentrated on selective processes, which are being held in news about Russia. It has been operated with four variables: actor, theme, news frames (conflict, attribution of responsibility, human interest, morality and economic) and securitization frame. Russian news websites in the Czech Republic and its reporting about the European Union

In recent years, many sources have referred to the Russian hybrid or information warfare against the West. Disinformation media is considered an important part of the Russian strategy. A large number of allegedly Russian disinformation websites have appeared in the Czech Republic after 2014, when tensions in Ukraine were escalated. In this bachelor thesis we will analyse three of them: Sputnik Czech Republic, Aeronet and AC24. This content analysis will focus especially on news about the European Union. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to confirm or disprove the hypothesis about the Russian propaganda effort to weaken the status of Western institutions. The thesis will also deal with methods of manipulation in the content of disinformation websites.
